Common Issues

๐Ÿ“ท Camera not working

  1. Make sure you're using LabelCamApp.com in Chrome โ€” not a downloaded file
  2. Click the camera icon in Chrome's address bar and set to Allow
  3. Refresh the page after allowing
  4. Make sure no other app (Zoom, Teams) is using the camera
  5. Try unplugging and replugging the webcam

๐Ÿ–จ๏ธ Label not printing correctly

  1. Make sure your Zebra printer is set as 4ร—6 label media in Windows printer settings
  2. In the print dialog select your Zebra printer โ€” not Microsoft PDF or another printer
  3. Set page size to 4ร—6 inches and scaling to Fit
  4. If label is cut off, try Full Frame mode instead of Auto Crop
  5. Calibrate your Zebra by holding the Feed button for 2 seconds

๐ŸŸข Green lock-on not triggering

  1. This is normal โ€” press X anyway. Green is a hint, not a requirement
  2. Reduce glare by tilting the phone slightly
  3. Make sure the label fills most of the blue target box
  4. Try better lighting if the label is very faded

๐Ÿ”‘ License key not working

  1. Copy and paste the key exactly โ€” don't type it manually
  2. Check your spam folder for the key delivery email
  3. Make sure you're within your licensed machine count
  4. If your computer was replaced, email us for a free license reset
  5. Keys are deactivated on refund โ€” contact us to repurchase

โœ‚๏ธ Label is cropped wrong

  1. After capture, click Full Frame to see the whole image
  2. Use Auto Crop when the label fills the blue box well
  3. Use Rotate buttons if the label came in sideways
  4. Recapture and try centering the label more carefully

๐Ÿ”„ App says update available

  1. Click the Update available badge in the top right
  2. Download the new version from the link provided
  3. Replace your old labelcam-app.html with the new one in Hostinger
  4. Your settings and license carry over automatically

FAQ
Which webcams work with LabelCam?
Any USB webcam with a Windows driver works. We recommend the Logitech Brio 101 1080p (~$23 on Amazon). Higher resolution = better auto-crop results.
Can I use LabelCam on both workstations with one license?
No โ€” one license covers one machine. The 2-license plan covers both workstations and saves $10 vs buying two separately.
Does LabelCam work for labels other than Amazon returns?
Yes. Any label on a phone screen or printed on paper can be captured โ€” UPS, FedEx, USPS, oversized paper labels, damaged labels. If the webcam can see it, LabelCam can print it.
What happens when my annual license expires?
The app stops working. You'll get reminder emails at 30 days and 7 days before expiration with a discounted renewal link. If you let it lapse, you can still renew at full price anytime.
Is my customer's label data stored anywhere?
No. Everything stays on your computer. LabelCam never uploads webcam images or label data to any server. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
